"We belong to a church in Hampshire and have been using the STIR material within our Home Group. On average, we have been Christians for 50 or so years, and yet acknowledge the difficulty sharing our faith outside of our church circle.
Whilst the gospel doesn't change, our culture does, we don't always know how to change with it, without compromise. I heard about the STIR, and although we were a very different demographic, it sounded something that would be helpful for us as well. And this proved to be the case. We certainly found it in enlightening to go right back to a basic understanding that we are a soul, and a soul can be stirred whether we are Christian or not. It becomes common ground to share with the people we encounter, either within the church or without."
